VICE PRESIDENT OF SOCIAL MEDIA--The VP of Social Media is responsible for maintaining OSIP’s social media presences. Specific duties include updating each social media page daily or scheduling posts, advertising events and other items via social media, sharing relevant stories, and helping OSIP maintain a strong presence in social media. Responsibilities include:
-Schedules posts to promote fairs
-Ensures that pictures/updates are uploaded in real time as needed
-Schedules posts to promote trivia events
-Schedules posts to promote apparel
-Uses Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to post and publicize all OSIP events
-Sets up events and invitations to certain necessary events where attendance is a factor
-Develops plans to properly represent OSIP in new and creative ways on social media that remain current with trends
-Uses social media to promote corporate sponsorships and ensures partners benefit
-Promotes OSIP’s reception of large awards via social media
-Submit monthly reports to the CEO and COO on social media
VICE PRESIDENT OF EVENT PLANNING--The VP of Event Planning is the point-person for planning fundraisers, fairs, and other events hosted and/or sponsored by OSIP. Specific duties include taking charge of all details of all events, including meetings, fundraisers, and fairs. Responsibilities include:
-Overseeing the successful execution of fundraisers and other events hosted and/or sponsored by OSIP.
-Handling the day-to-day operations in preparing for events.
-Making sure events are staffed with manpower.
-Working in conjunction with all other VPs to ensure smooth operation of all fundraisers and events.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER--The CFO reports to the President and is responsible for overseeing various monetary operations within OSIP. Responsibilities include:
-Developing a budget for each fiscal year in conjunction with a budget committee (the CFO acts as chair of said committee).
-Working in tandem with the Treasurer and the President & CEO to handle the daily accounting and record keeping of transactions and other financial matters.
-Working in conjunction with all other VPs to make sure everyone is abreast of OSIP's financial status.
VICE PRESIDENT OF FUNDRAISING--The VP of Fundraising is responsible for maintaining OSIP’s charitable fundraising ventures. Specific duties include being the point-person for every fundraising event, maintaining relationships with vendors that continue to support our fundraising, and searching for new ways to raise charitable funds. Responsibilities include:
-Considers items for prizes at fairs
-Keeps CEO and COO abreast of fundraising updates regarding prizes for games at fairs
-Oversees fundraising attached to trivia events
-Ensures that funds we raise via apparel are profitable and are received
-Ensures that all fundraisers are properly represented on social media
-Explores ways to use fundraisers/grants to earn/raise money for OSIP
-Pitches fundraising/grant ideas to CEO
-Determines proper amounts to request/expect from potential donors
-Requests CEO to fill out grant applications and fundraising forms
-Networks with businesses to determine interest in corporate sponsorship/grants
-Maintains relations and open dialogue to continually renew those relationships and grants
-Researches proper ways to write grants as well as find them
-Submit quarterly reports at each quarterly meeting on fundraising
VOLUNTEERS--OSIP is always looking for volunteers to assist with the successful execution of events and fundraisers.
